ArchivedAtheists, Buddhism, Pagan, or the Jewish religionWhat have I not understood? I believe Jesus to be the Son of God just as He claimed and you have also claimed. I also believe that none of us can do nothing without the Father and neither can Jesus. Where have i said that I disagree with that? Anywhere? You claim that He is both God AND the Son of God. He cannot be both, Omega. God is in Him and He is in God, just as He claimed. But there is one greater than Him as He also claimed. You say that, but you also say that that is not true which, of course, is contradictory. I also know the gospels inside out and I have said nothing that contradicts it. Your claim that Jesus is God rather than from God contradicts His words. Your jump to the conclusion that others lack spiritual insight except for yourself does not show humility. He who exhalts himself will be humbled. Jesus is the Son of God, which he claimed. You have not addressed the statement that he made that even He does not know the hour of the end of the age, only the Father. if He were God, He would know all things, Omega. But He Himself says that He knows only what the Father chooses to reveal to him. I get the feeling that you think less of Jesus if he isn't God. I do not. He is my Lord and savior through which I can know my Father in heaven. His spirit inside me gives me knowledge of God, but that does not make ME God. Neither does it make Jesus God Himself. I honor Jesus's words when He talks about His Father. I also believe Him when He calls God, His Father. There is so much in those words that you are missing. |
