Also dE=dmc^2 is not mass at rest yet the basis for this equation is E=mc^2 so you are still avoiding my question. Now since the definition of mass used in physics is the matter plus the energy of an object and since matter can increase (even when at rest such as a tree) mass can change. One human lifetime is about 77 years. So explain how a human being could live 77 years in a spaceship while at the same time the earth aged by billions of years. What would change relative to the observers in the spaceship versus observers on earth? The answer is c changes since our perception of time is tied to the speed of light. |
