Science, Creation & EvolutionDinosaurs?Lots of wrong facts in this thread. It's not really that hard to imagine. Elephants are 2-ton animals and they can fully support their own weight. In fact they can stand on their 2 front legs alone, and keep themselves balanced. A dinosaur would've evolved the body structure necessary to support such a weight as it evolved to be at that weight. Correct. Evolution only happens when a certain aspect gives a species a greater advantage in their habitat. If it became necessary for a Dinosaur to evolve big, factors could change that make it necessary for them to evolve small (or become extinct, whichever happens first).
Well, for one, scientists predict that we have not even found .01% of the fossils that may exist on this planet. Not only that but not every fossil is well-formed enough to give enough data for a scientist to use. What's this about "fully formed" animals? There's no such thing as a partially formed animal. Evolution doesn't have a set path. It happens only when certain aspects of a species allow them greater success in their environment. There's no determined evolution. This reminds me of the "you can't have a partial wing" argument. Yes you can. Any ligament that provides a greater lift would be beneficial to a species. No. Got a link to any writings by any evolutionary scientist that have stated this? Evolution doesn't say that at all. Evolution gives a Dinosaur > Smaller Reptile > Mammal path. There's very little that's biologically similar between Dinosaurs and Humans. |
