Apologetics Forum: Ask questions about Christianity/Debate doctrinesOSAS viewsAgain, no proof that Judas or Saul was ever saved. It’s just stated as a fact that cannot be disputed. The author’s only “proof” of Saul’s salvation seems to be that the Bible says the Spirit of the Lord was on him. This is hardly proof. First, the Spirit of the Lord came on people in the Old Testament not to give them salvation, but to equip them to do His work. Second, the Spirit of the Lord came on many people numerous times. If having the Spirit of the Lord Come upon you in the OT was equivalent to salvation, then many people in the OT were saved and unsaved multiple times, and we know according to Hebrews 6 that this can’t happen. |
