ArchivedTo the Pagans of Jesus Christ Forums! Hear my cry!Nice reply back. To answer the first question Constatine was orignially Pagan to begin with, he betrayed the gods in favor of a false one. And he won the battle of Milivan Bridge in 309 A.D because it was destined to happen, all of Christianity and all the future has been planned out from the begining of time by the fates. He was also a very brilliant general. I commend Constatine he fought a hard battle against his Pagan Opponet Maxtimius. Constatine was techincally an uspure against the Senate in Rome, a rebel trying to overthrow the regins of emperorship like so many others before him. The Fates had this planed out not nessasarly the gods, Time is planed out and everything happens for a reason, the gods can intervene but they basically have no control over fate. And one day the Pagan Gods will come back...Their still very angry at us for betraying them for we are only Human, sinful to the very bottom of our hearts. Thats right the one point I agree on with Christians, we are sinful from the time were born till the time we die. So do you understand what I am saying.....We humans have free will, we can choose whatever religion we want but it is not nessarily the right one. Fate is all planned out from the begining...Christianity will fall like so many other Faiths before it (To be quite honest.....athiests might plauge the world with no faith in a higher spirtual power A world without good faith would be horrible. The day the Altar of Victory was smashed to peices on the Senate Floor and a huge cross was raised and the day the eternal fire of the goddess Vesta or Hestia was extingushed that is the day when the gods through down their goblets in rage and rejected the humans for worshiping a man, a mortal by the name of Jesus! Since then have you noticed that all of the world has been going down hill? Nearly 1,000 years latter the industiral revolution began and our Earth has become a polluted death trap! The Fates have this planned of coarse but the gods never did. If the gods had not been discareded the Roman Empire might still survive, the gods of Rome pushed back the forces of Hannibal and numerous Germanic Tribes before Constatine the apostate rejected them. The gods of Rome were the reason Rome stretched as far as it did and why it's econmy was the best in the world. The Romans invented the Republic and if Christians had had their way Preists would be rulling and Democracy would not exist. Anyway I can always tell you the great achivements of my gods and the Roman Empire yet it would take far too long to explain! So to go furthure on in my reply, about my quoute Your right on some things the Roman Governor could order the execution but their are some key words your forgetting, namely: Take Him yourselves, and crucify Him, for I find no guilt in Him Pilate if I remember corretly had another criminal with Jesus and when he asked which one should be crucfied the Jewish Populance screamed they wanted Jesus dead. The Jews answered him, "We have a law, and by that law He ought to die because He made Himself out to be the Son of God." NAS He specfically asked the Jews if they wanted him dead and they cryed, Yes, yes kill him! If had been up to Pilate he would have spared Jesus because Pilate was no fool he saw good in Jesus (just as I do) and he would have spared him. But there is the law and the Jewish Priests spurred on the populance to say stuff. Did I just hear Jewish Priests? The same Jewish Priests who worship the god of Abarham! The Jewish Priests who have the same god as you until you said only through Jesus you could get into heaven. Were talking about the same god who supposadly led the people of Isreal out of Egypt. And how come this god never told Moses about Jesus? You would think that your all knowing god would say that Jesus would be the true Messiah someday. But no he didn't, and let me remind you the God of the Christians and the God of the Jews are the same deity! Their both in the same bible. And yet these Priests yelled to kill Jesus and they worship the same god, I find this odd. Pontious Pilate never wanted the job of governorship in Judea he was using the "back water" province to get higher in the Roman Goverment. He wanted to keep the peace and prosperity and other then in the bible his rule is well documented and very complimented for his good stout and moral rules. I tell you this the Roman Empire is not guilty of Jesus's death! They were the keepers of peace and it was the general populance who wanted him dead, not the Romans. The Romans didn't give a hoot about some guy who was helping people out and going out into the wilderness for days on end, they probably thought he was some sort of crazy hermit and they didn't care. Judus was a Jew who worshiped the same god and he betrayed Jesus! While the Romans were just their to get taxes and keep the Jewish people happy. Without the Romans your religion wouldn't have spread because they built the roads and made the laws for you primitive faith to begin. Therefore the Romans are not guilty because the Jews wanted him dead more then Pilate, and Constatine only upspured the gods of Rome because the Fates alowed it. To slimplify everything for you. And to remind you friend Christian, It is unfortunate you start your time on this message board misusing the Bible in an ignorant attempt to change what is actually written in the Bible. John 19:3 the same words you wrote down and the same I wrote down were almost exacly the same Iggnorant hardly, being iggnorant would be like me saying "Your god is false" without any evidence of why it is false, and I just provided a little of that evdidence in my speach about destiny and fate. Now you on the other hand need to back up why my gods are "manmade" and then maybe we can have a mutal understanding. Wonderful time talking post whenever you wish my friend, Sincerly, Zeke |
