Christian/Muslim ThreadsWE, US. OUR !!!!!!!!!!H2O, if you really do know Greek then you know that according to Greek grammar "ho" is not required to show the last phrase of John 1:1 is correctly translated "and the word was God". Some scholars insist the last phrase would be better translated "and the word was divine". But that is simply a matter of word choice and means the same thing. The Word was with God in the beginning and the Word is God. That H2O is what the Greek plainly states. Now there is one question I have asked you Muslims who are tying to educated us Christians about our faith. Who was Abraham talking to in Genesis 18? The Hebrew uses the Hebrew covenant name for God for the individual that talked with Abraham. Now since no man has seen God who was Abraham entertaining? The Trinity is prefigured in the OT and no matter how hard it may be for you to accept it is true. |
