Christian/Muslim ThreadsWhy muslims cast stones at a well in Mecca.
Nice to see you back here H2O, When I was a Muslim I had learnt that Bukhari had collected 300,000 Hadiths and chose only 6,000 of them to be classified as Sahih. He also prayed 2 Rakats before he would enter a Hadith into his collection, and he did this in the Muhammads Mosque in Medina (between Muhammads House and his Pulpit) which is considered to be one of the gardens of Jannah. As far as I was aware, Bukhari's collection was the one that was tested the most stringently. And whilst some Muslims are happy to reject Hadiths from Bukhari when they go against their particular beliefs, most Muslims do not. And the religious non-acceptance of a Hadith does not make it weak from a Historical perspective. As for the prayers, I'm only aware of THREE times of the day mentioned in the Qur'an, the very reason why Shi'ites combine Zuhr/Asr and Maghrib/Isha. |
