Both the catholic and protestant forms are Mithraic. Both of them are commiting abominations. If you read the chapter, you will notice that people where getting drunk and sutffing themselves. This is not possible to do with the Eucharist. The Lord's Supper is not the communion ritual regardless of what party is doing it. Read Acts 2 and see what they did as they kept the doctrine of breaking bread together physically. Then read other scripture that deals with the body and you will see the spiritual connection, God willing.
Eucharist is another abomination by both horns. Me and Rome have already gone through all of this over communion in the first page. If you read over them, it would save us time. And that way, we can talk about other evidences, rather than being redundant.
I spoke to you because I thought you felt eating was believing. I was saying it's digesting the word. And if it's digesting the word or believing, what is the point of Eucharist?
==============================
The point of Communion is that GOD established it in the same way he did the Passover. "As often as you do this, you proclaim the Lord's death." Paul didn't say to do away with Communion, but that they were not practicing it the way Jesus ordained it.
Jesus did say eating was the same as believing since he used those words in the same sentence. "I will give them eternal life and raise them from the dead." I don't think the Bible is mentioned in John 6.
