Science, Creation & EvolutionNoah and the DelugeWhat I'm saying is that the evidence does not support your premise. Furthermore you were asking us to prove that something didn't happen. This is virtually impossible in any situation and yet you require it. My 'Last Thursdayism' example was to illustrate this. It shows the you can never 'prove' that the universe did not come into existence last Thursday. Is there evidence for it? No. But neither can I 'prove' it didn't happen. As a guess, I would say probaly not much unless it was a whopper. In that case, however, all life would have been eradicated, not just a few taxa. The point is that there is not enough gravitational instability to bring about the catastrophic plate tectonics that you seem to be lead toward. In the meantime, there is no evidence that such a thing happened. Let me get this straight. You want to move water from the ocean to the atmosphere and thereby cause a flood? That won't work. To answer your question, probably years before the climate stabilized. However, that is the atmosphere not the lithosphere. In order to get a global food you have to go through some pretty extreme contortions of the lithosphere to get a global flood. |
