Science, Creation & EvolutionNoah and the DelugeOne phrase? Can't have much detail. Coming from someone who wants more than depositional environment, progression of ear bones and similarity of dentition as evidence for evolution of whales, this sounds kind of odd. Assuming that it happened, yes. Science makes it very unlikely. Can you prove that the universe was not created last Thursday? Since there is no evidence that it ever happened, that's hard to tell. Presumably this event would leave behind tons of evidence. I have no idea. My guess is that mountains since the Mesozoic have been probably about the same height as they are now. Actually, a tsunami does not necessarily result from an an earthquake, so it's hard to say. However, tsunamis do lose energy quite quickly when the encounter shallow water or are diffracted around land masses. We know that impacts have occurred. THere is evidence for them. However, the ensuing flood that you seem so sure of leaves no evidence behind, despite the fact that is was global and covered the highest mountains.... |
