ArchivedPA officials guilty of blatant violation of First Amendment :: ReplyReply Why is it absurd? I'm simply stating that it's sheer lunacy for a person to assume that just because someone objects to their lifestyle (or faith or just their opinion), then that person hates the one whose opinion/lifestyle/faith they're objecting to. There is absolutely no logic in that assumption, whatsoever, and I believe it's a tool that homosexual extremists use to obtain sympathy from some people, who may already hate Christians. You're on a Christian message board. If you're unhappy with our views on homosexuality, perhaps you should join a board that is not Scripturally sound. Aineo, I put the verses about homosexuality in bold text because that's what this topic is partially about: homosexuality. I was never saying that homosexual activity is the only thing that is an abomination. The proof is all around you, justforfun. You just choose to ignore it. You're putting your trust in what scientists have to say, aren't you? Well, that's what faith is: trust. You put your trust (faith) in science, whereas Christians put our trust in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It's also extremely intimidating. I'm nervous about doing that, just 'cause of the face that it's more personal than sharing my faith with someone over the internet. And justforfun, like it or not, a Christian is what I am. Yes, I chose to put my faith in Jesus Christ. But I am a Christian, and I have no plans on changing that any time soon. My faith is a defining part of who I am, because it influences the choices I make now and the ones I'll make in the future. |
