Well to reply point by point to either of the posts Tuppence and Aineo said after is pointless, because it's still referencing your personal experiences of what you claim to have discovered in error or opposition to established science.
Without giving me specific parts to rebut that YOU found contradictory, I have nowhere to go with it.
It's no different then me generalizing by saying "I used to believe in the Bible, but after studying many theories of science, I discovered they simply made more sense and contradicted everything I believed was true. Therefore my decision to trust science over the Bible is right".
There's no way to refute that type of preposition. it's not really explaining anything, it's stating a personal belief without the reason behind each part laid out to show the actual process from one mindset to the other.
So we'll have to get into actual specifics before anything can be understood on either side.
