Science, Creation & EvolutionSomething for Tuppence: Science definedThen why follow obviously ludicrous research? If someone concluded that the planet was made of antimatter thousands of years ago despite the flaws there, would you believe it because he has his own website? Yes. And this proves a designer... how? And this is? Backed up by what? That doesn't make any sense. Are you saying something can't be both complex and efficient? Because I can tell you now, it can. Prerequisites for efficiency needn't be simpler. You didn't address that point. You missed the point. Why do there need to be more types of wing when one type easily does the job? Why invent different variations? They all allow for flight and do nothing radically different, so your own argument fails here. You missed the point about semantics I see. AIDS allows such diseases to come into their own and work unabated. Ergo, it can be argued the AIDS attributed to death, just like smoking did to a smoker, even though he died of cancer for instance. The disease is tame in a non-immune compromised person. I never said it wasn't tame in an AIDS sufferer, I said it was ordinarily of no consequence because it was so easily fended off by our immune defences. That's off-topic for what we were discussing. My point was that AIDS attributed to the deaths of all those that have died. Yes, a disease other than the HI virus killed them. But that doesn't change the fact that it was AIDS in the first place that made them open to attack and therefore assisted in their death. To say otherwise is to assume disease doesn't exist and it doesn't matter either way whether the immune system is functional or not. |
