You'll also have noticed my little caveat of "in its original form" when I mention Biblical inerrancy.
Simply, the Bible has to be inerrant, as if not then how can we tell which bits are from God and which bits aren't? Christianity just wouldn't function. And when you have a relationship with God, and read his word, you realise how perfect the Bible is and how central it needs to be in daily life.
In terms of versions, I just exercise caution, and if something's wrong I check many versions, and if possible a direct analysis of the Hebrew/Greek text.
