Nickatwarwick and others have said things like: 'The bible is inerrant.'
Christians then seem to take this as an absolute truth, and start looking for arguments or scientific evidence that supports this statement.
Let me ask you now:
HOW can you be ABSOLUTELY certain that every word in the bible is an accurate description of the things that happened? Why do people assume the bible can't be wrong? You are basing your entire view of the world on reading a translation, of a translation of a translation.
I don't know if god ever said something like "what I say is the truth", according to the bible, but even if he did, why take his word for it?
I always reserved a healthy amount of common sense whenever someone says 'this is inerrant.'
