I have read many of the posts on this forum, and they are far more negative than positive. No matter if one chooses to believe in a literal hell or not, God is a positive inclusion in anyone's life that truly desires to seek Him. There's no way around that, it's the underlying premise of the whole presence of God in our lives.
I do not disagree with this statement. Those who honestyly seek God and His will will find both.
No, I don't intend to teach anything to anyone, and as for denying the truth, that is definitely not the case. I seek out the Truth, and understand that concept more than you might think, in ways I could not possibly explain to you at this point in our interaction. Certain things must be experienced to be truly known, and the Truth of the Holy Spirit is of that type.
Historical and Biblical Christianity, as you put it, are products of man and his social and political agendas. Any thing which puts a human between another human and God in their search for salvation is a stumbling block and interferes in negative ways. You cannot look to another person as interpreter of what God is telling you. You must trust in Him to give you the ability to discern.
We can learn from each other, but not from a rigid stance and a narrow inflexible view. I would be totally receptive to any new ideas presented to me, by you or anyone, if they were presented with validity as supported by the Bible. The things you say, and the scriptures you quote are not at all conclusive in regard to your points being valid. Any points you make are not backed by scripture, just bits and pieces, and the rest you fill in with your own personal opinions.
All of this simply ignores and denies Paul's teaching on the gifts of the Spirit.
1 Cor 12:28-31
28 And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues. 29 All are not apostles, are they? All are not prophets, are they? All are not teachers, are they? All are not workers of miracles, are they? 30 All do not have gifts of healings, do they? All do not speak with tongues, do they? All do not interpret, do they? 31 But earnestly desire the greater gifts. NAS
Depending on your own intellect is both good and bad, it is good when you gather sufficient knowledge of God's truth to understand what He is teaching us. It is bad when one ignores the whole teaching in favor of a couple verses that establish a false belief. The wisdom of God is foolishness to men.
You have opined that baptism saves, yet Scripture does not back up your opinion. You seem to deny the existence of hell, yet such a place is clearly taught in Scripture. What you have posted is a combination of what Jehovah Witnesses, Gnosticism, and other cults teach as truth. You want a balanced view of God then do a word study on “wrath” as well as love. God is not simply a power for good; He is the ultimate judge who will punish those who ignore His calling and His truth.
