Trinity DebateTitus 2: 13In other words what I was trying to say was (is) that God didn't fully reveal himself to the Jews in the OT, he did that in the NT with Jesus. "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds" Hebrews 1:1-2 Aieno Wrote: I threw the definition of the Trinity into the discussion, because for a former Trinitarian you dont seem to understand the simple basics of the Trinity. You keep saying "Paul wrote One God", Trinitarians believe in that One God and so what exactly is your point? Jesus did say the Father is the only true God. The only thing one has to do in order to understand Jesus’ point here is to simply read the entire context. You raise this question assuming that there is only one Person who is God. You then impose this assumption onto the reading of the text. |
