You Aieno are using an argument that the Jehovah’s Witnesses have often used to help them "prove" Jesus is not God. And that is the passage 1 Corinthians 8:6.
Since the passage states that for "us" there is "one God, the Father’", and since Jesus is not the Father, he cannot be God, right? So runs the reasoning of the typical Jehovas Witness or Unitarian. Yet such reasoning is superficial.
Lets mix it up a bit, and lets take a look at this passage a little bit closer.
"But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." 1 Corinthians 8:6
Aieno concludes from this verse that since the Father is the "one God" Jesus cannot be God, right? But by that same reasoning, since Jesus is called the "one Lord" The Father can not also be Lord. Thus, once again Aieno your thesis falls apart and simple logic prevails. 1 Corinthians 8:6, will not help you in your quest to disprove the doctrine of the Trinity.
