I was born a Catholic, in the sense that I was baptised into the Church but I was raised in a muslim environment. I attended various protestant churches, Baptist, Pentecostal, Anglican and even a Jehovas witness gathering.
I did not become a Catholic without thinking, so yes I can and do think outside the box of our traditions. I was actually very interested in the Orthodox church before I came into the Catholic one, thus why I choose to stay in the eastern rite that I was baptised in.
I actually do remember you selectively quote St Augustine (a number of times) out of context regarding tradition and how supposedly St Augustine didnt accept tradition, when infact St Augustine was talking about Gnostic traditions, not the traditions of the church which infact he encourages us to keep.
