Muslim & Christian Discussion ForumJESUS LIFEJimmy, in John 10:33, when the Pharisees came to Christ and said "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God", Christ responded by mentioning an Old Testament scripture where Israel were called gods. This shows that Christ is "god" in the sense that he has recieved authority from the Father. An authority to have dominion over all of creation. It does not mean that Christ is equal with the Father. Also consider what Christ said in John 10:35,36. He responds to the Pharisees by saying he is the Son of God. These are arguments that non-Trinitarians can use. But like you, I hold the view that God knows who He is (Triune or not), and it is clear that believing in Christ, the Son of God, is the only way to salvation. |
