ArchivedDinosaurs? There are many "prophets" that have had some of their prophecies come true, including Edgar Casey. However, as to Nostradomus not all his prophecies came true and many of them are so vague they could apply to more than one historical event. As to my personal opinion he is a false prophet since he is not 100% accurate. If you want to use extra-Biblical information the one that impresses me the most is the Mayan calendar. It began in 3114 B.C. and ends in 2012 A.D. This calendar has 365 days and is more accurate than any calendar devised by ancient cultures including the Greeks and Romans. Here is an interesting tidbit to think about. The Jews believe God created man on September 1 (which is the Jewish New Year) and atronomical information indicates Jesus was born on September 11, which is the Jewish celebration known as the Day of Atonement. There are lots of coincidences that make me wonder about our past but I do not establish doctrine based on non-Biblical information. |
