I agree wholeheartedly. The purpose of science is to attempt to discover the truth - weather you agree with it or not. When scientists fail to be objective, they fail to be scientists.
I have absolutely no problem with Evolution being taught as Theory - after all, that's all that it is. I do have a problem with Creationism being taught in Science class, simply because Christianity is not a science. It is a religious preference. I would have no problem, however, with the Bible being used in English class or with Creationism being taught in a Philosophy class. Of course, I would object to any religious group that gets more time than another - and I felt this way when I was in High School and we had to read about Mythology. I wondered why Christian Dogma/Biblical stories were not included. (I was Christian at the time, but discovered that the people preventing these things from being taught were primarily Christians).
It's amazing what can't be accomplished when people have ulterior motives, huh?
