Christian/Muslim ThreadsWas Jesus Perfect God and Perfect Man at the Same Time?Hello some_knowledge, here to attain more knowledge?
The Doctrine of the Deity of Christ has been done to death here on this Forum, I’ll save you the time searching through this forum for the answers. John 18:19 - The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine. Mark 12:38 - And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, Mark 4:2 - And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine, So whose Doctrine is it anyways? It is the Doctrine of God! Each member of the Triune God have distinct roles but perform them in Absolute Unity, I will explain to the best of my ability, however it will make no sense to someone not bor of the will of God but of the flesh. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. John 10;17,18 Matthew 20:28 - Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. First lets take a close look at what the words "Doctrine" exactly means. The word "doctrine" taken from Jesus’ sermon on the mount is didache{did-akh-ay'} which means to teach and this is where we get the word didact from, Christ indeed came to teach, the Doctrine of God to minister unto the lost and to teach the Truth especially that of repentance. Christ referred to himself as the Truth:John 8:45 - And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Notice how Christ mentions that He tells them of the Truth which is the Doctrine of the Father and as we see in the next verse that Jesus Himself is the Truth, this verse also gives an example of the Unity of the Godhead and representing their separate roles. John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Christ came to Earth to reveal the mystery of God and His nature which was hidden in times past. And through the Holy Spirit and its function or role many will then come to the realization of the Truth through the Holy Spirit. Lets see now the separate role of the Holy Spirit who is also recognized as the Truth: John 16:13 - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Take a very close look at the words within these scriptures because if not examined closely then these scriptures will be meaningless, this I know because as I stated earlier that the debate of the Deity of Christ has been done to death and the questions you ask have been answered many times over. This is why they call this site FREEJESUS! See here: John 16:15 - All things that the Father hath (are mine): therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. The Son revealed the Truth of that which he had received from the Father and the Holy Spirit took what He has received from the Son and continues to reveal it unto all of mankind after Christs departure. When Christ left the Earth He breathed the Holy Spirit at His Disciples, the Holy Spirit will then perform His function which is to bring to remembrance all that Christ has taught them, since Christ is no longer in the World another would have to continue in His place, this is where the Holy Spirit then performs His duty as the Third person of the Godhead. Example:John 14:26 - But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and (bring all things to your remembrance), whatsoever I(Christ) have said unto you. Take a very close look at this Scripture, it states that He(The Holy Spirit)will teach them "all things" and bring to remembrance all that Christ has taught them. As I had already explained previously that Since Christ is to no longer remain in the World another would have to come as a reminder and guide to bring to remembrance all that have been taught of Christ. So the Doctrine of the Holy Spirit is the Doctrine of Christ and the Doctrine of Christ is the Doctrine of the Father. The Doctrine has been given unto the Son since God is Spirit and the Son then takes that which He has received from His Father and the Holy Spirit takes that which the Son has been given from the Father. Remember this verse: John 16:15 - All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. do you understand this?
You say that Jesus never claimed to be God and is not God but Scriptures will demonstrate that you have just fulfilled Scripture and please do not get offended by this, either you can accept it as a wise man or scoff at it as a scorner.
