Christian/Muslim ThreadsWas Jesus Perfect God and Perfect Man at the Same Time? Then the Lord said to Aaron: "You and your sons and your father's house with you shall bear the iniquity related to the sanctuary, and you and your sons with you shall bear the iniquity associated with your priesthood (Numbers 18:1). In certain situations God says some shall bear the iniquity of others and in other situations God says they shall not bear the iniquity of others. What does this have to do with Christ dying for our sins? Put things in their proper context. Even in those passages which say that the father shall not bear the iniquity of the son and vice versa, it is not talking about Jesus, it is talking about you and your earthly father or any other earthly relationship. Your Qu'ran would have to refute the prophecies of Isaiah to refute the death of Christ for the sins of the world, and it does not even make a reference to that prophecy. Shows how much the god of the Qu'ran knows about "corrupted" sources. To answer your question: The Father. Jesus is God in the flesh Who humbled Himself though He was God in the flesh? Phillippians 2:5-8 Who is omnipotent (all powerful)? Philippians 3:20-21 Who is Lord of Sabbath? Matthew 12:8 Who will judge between the sheep and goats? Matthew 25:31-33 Who resurrected Jesus? John 10:17-18 You full, or are you thirsty for more? The Bible does mention the god of the Qu'ran: Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son (1 John 2:22). |
