Psalms 17:14> O LORD , by your hand save me from such men,
from men of this world whose reward is in this life.
David did not say to take away their reward which is in this world;he didn't ask that their children be orphans.
2 Corinthians 10
2I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be toward some people who think that we live by the standards of this world.
Paul did not say that we should prevent the world from living as they want to; he said that we shouldn't live like them.
1 John 2:15>Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
He didn't say we should aide our support to subjugating the desires of people in the "world" that wish to live contrary of the will of the father.
1 John 4:5>They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them.
John again does not say we should prevent the world from thinking as they think.
1 John 5:4>for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
John says that we overcome the world by our faith, not by obstructing proud sinners.
Luke 16:8>"The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.
Here the lord says that the worldly folk are better business minded than his own folk.
John 14:17>the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[1] in you.
John 16:8>When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt[1] in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:
The job of the Holy Spirit is to convict the "world" of guilt, Aineo the Holy Spirit doesn't need your help in telling homosexuals that true marriage is between a man and a woman. You are misrepresenting a wholesome Biblical perspective on tolerance of unsaved folk.
This is a scripture that should put a monkey wrench in your arguement, if you don't get it after this, then you are "out there"
Romans 8:5>Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6The mind of sinful man[5] is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; 7the sinful mind[6] is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. 8Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.
9You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. 10But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.
Sinful mind is hostile to God......sinful nature cannot please God....Mind is set on what nature desires(Ephesians 2:3)
And you are going to tell folk like this that they should live like Godly folk - if the Holy Ghost can convert them, how dare you try; it is one thing to drop the word, and it is another thing to expect others to live as if they are Godly.
