ArchivedIt is against true Christianity to force moralit
No my friend, the oppression of Africans was a matter of human rights; remember 3/5 of a human. Blacks were not thought of as humans - that is a moral issue; I excuse you. All laws are based on morality. It is not right to kill, rape or steal; philosophy 101. I give you this much, white women being oppressed were an issue of civil rights. I don't see a need to go over this again; If you don't get ( 1 Corithians 5:12, nothing will work) enjoy your day. I don't need to prove how straight I am to any man; I hope you don't feel you need to either. I am happy to hear that you have been clean for 21 years of homosexuality. Take care - I tried my best, but I can not make you believe what I believe is a wholesome opinion on the gay marriage issue. I don't need to spew hate upon gays to prove my love for Christ. I think they should have the right to marry. Even if my son was to marry a man, I would not attend the wedding; I wouldn't even want to meet his partner, but I don't think it is right to decide who should be able to marry. I lied; I said that I was though with this conversation, but if this doesn't work, nothing will. If there was discovered a new religion that "blessed" gay marriage; should people not be permitted to practice this religion? And should muslims that believe that a man could have up to four wifes be restricted from having more than one wife if they live in America? I think that the lines of morality should be drawn when your beliefs endanger other folks; if your religion says it is okay to kill and/or rape my wife, I will turn your cheek. The job of Christians is to be the salt of the world, the light on a mountain, overcomers with a testimony; not crusaders that force heathens to conform to "Godliness". Paul said that he is all things to all men that he may win some over, not by force - but by his example. |
