No Omega, you are "interpreting" the plain teaching to defend a false doctrine. Your head must rule your emotions.
Jesus is the vine, and all the branches are believers otherwise they would not be part of the vine. The branches (believers) who don't produce fruit are cut away.
Now you can attempt to defend OSAS, however, the Bible is clear that only those who continue to the end will be saved.
John 8:31-32
"If you abide in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; 32 and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. " NAS
John 15:6
6 "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch, and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. NAS
Back to the parable of the sower. The seed that sprang up in the thorns had enough life to sprout and grow, yet the cares of the world choked the word of life and they became fruitless.
What many OSAS proponents ignore is the conditional
if - then of some of God's promises.
