No man can force you to leave the Lord's hand does not mean you cannot choose to leave the Lord.
Is there such a thing as a carnal Christian? Paul warns the Corinthians about living a carnal life. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God. NAS
Galatians 6:7-8

A babe in Christ may live a carnal life for a season, however as a Christian matures he will either change or suffer the consequences. A carnal Christian does not overcome this world or his base desires. If I follow your reasoning gay theology is a valid theology for those who reject God's truth about same sex relationships.
