We use Scripture as well as Oral tradition. We as Catholics reject the man made idea of Sola scripture.

Paul appealed to Scripture time after time. Jesus took the Pharisees to task for teaching the traditions of men, which by the way were personal interpretations of God's truth.
As to Scripture only it is not a tradition it is a way to determine what is true and what is false.
Can you show me where Paul quoted a tradition? Can you show me where Jesus quoted a "tradition"?
