Obviously Believer didn't read the posts above fully.
Look at this:
Genesis 17 " As for Ish'mael, I have heard you; behold, I will bless him and make him fruitful and multiply him exceedingly; he shall be the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation"
How would God define a great nation?
A great nation to God is a nation that believes in God. No matter how much wealth the nation have or numbers or whatever, it will only be great in the eys of God if it's a nation of God.
Now, what great nation came from Ishmael ----> ARABS
What is the most significant thing that came from the ARABS ---> ISLAM
The bible has been manipulated and I will show you below:
Genesis 22 "2: He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Mori'ah, and offer him there as a burnt offering upon one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."
As we all know Ishmael is born before Isaac so when calling Isaac "The Only Son" you are ignoring that Ishmael exits (which is wrong). Ishmael is 13 years older than Isaac I think.
There are other references in the bible calling Isaac the only son of Abraham but let's look at this also
Genesis 25 " 9: Isaac and Ish'mael his sons buried him in the cave of Mach-pe'lah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, east of Mamre,"
Clearly from the verse above Ishmael is still considered a son to Abraham.
So we can only conclude from this is that the name Ishmael was removed and replaced with Isaac.
Now I want you to think about this and also scroll up and read the other post I made
Also:
Both Moses and Jesus hid in Egypt (as children) during a slaughter
of babies
Not true. Only Matthew mentioned this and the other three godpels ignored this important even. In addition to that, the famous historian Josephus never mentioned this incident during Jesus time.
Moses commanded 12 tribes while Jesus commanded 12 apostles
Moses commanded a nation and Muhammad commanded a nation. Jesus commanded 12 people only.
Both had faces that radiated light
Muhammad did too
Both worked miracles that both their followers and unbelievers
observed.
Both fasted for forty days.
Both physically controlled water (making it possible to walk through
or on it).
Both chemically controlled water (Moses turned water to blood Jesus
turned water into wine).
All prophets have miracles, Mohammad was reported to have done several miracles too and the greatest of all was the Quran.
Both Moses and Jesus knew when they would die
Wrong, Moses death in mentioned in Deuteronomy. Now all scholars who understand how to read the bible in its original language find it impossible to believe that Moses wrote Deuteronomy for the simple reason that Deuteronomy has a completely different language style compared to Gen Exo Levi and Num, and that language style is amazingly identical to the books of Kings I and II .
Jesus fed thousands of people with 2 fish and 5 loafs of bread (John
6:10-2) and Moses fed the Isrealites with manna (John 6:31).
Moses was a learned man and Jesus knew the Scripture well.
Moses and Jesus had followers that heard the voice of God
Moses and Jesus had a unique relationship with God.
Moses and Jesus both had to flee for their lives (Jesus was almost
stoned)
Both Moses and Jesus were called to bring their people out of
bondage
Both Jesus and Moses were disliked by the established authorities.
Same exact thing can be applied to Muhammad (pbuh)
Moses gave the Ten Commandments, Jesus gave the two Great
Commandments
Wrong. The two great commandments you are talking about are quoted from Deuteronomy. They are not new to Jews. The truth is, Moses came with the Ten Commandments which are a set of laws and Muhammad came with the same set of laws in the Quran.
They both taught others how to pray
They lived a life of hardship
Same thing with Muhammed
Now, as you can see, the points mentioned by Molviuk are more accurate than yours concerning the similarities between Moses and Muhammad.
You need an advice?
(1) Read the bible correctly especially the Old Testament
(2) Don't read subjective books about Islam.
(3) Don't call Muhammed (pbuh) a fool. He is greater than you.
