What if someone who is not a Christian comes to a Christian site and posts that tthe bible allows homosexuality? Am I not obligated to show
them the truth?
You start with a private conversation, then confront him with 2 or 3, and then the before the congregation, not on something as impersonal as the Internet and not to the exclusion of being gentle. If such a person ignores church discipline he is to be ostracized and the issue is closed. To continue to harp on the issue is being judgmental and ignores Christ’s teaching.
This is what you should have done if you thought I was "harping" on the sins of homosexuality, which I was not(I posted this in the other forum as well). And I disagree, this might be the internet, but what you post can affect someone's life. And do not accuse me for something I did not do(bashing the sin of someone down their throat), that is my point. Bearing false witness does not have to only happen in the Church. You are bearing false witness to me by saying I judge homosexuals.
