ArchivedHomosexual AgendaThis sight does need a spell checker would save some people a bit of embarassment at times 8) People have said that for years but at the same time there are a good 3x as many who say that genetics does indeed play a large role in our behavior much of that has been shown by studying twins who grew up in differant familys with no knowlage of each other. Human behavior is partly influanced by genetics and partly by enviroment. If it was enviroment alone we would all turn out pretty much the same. Take what my child has for example. This was diagnosed in 1944 so its a pretty newly discovered thing as far as medical discoverys go and was not accepted really untill sometime in the 1990's information on it is still very sparch but it IS a nerological disorder and is clasifyed in the autism spectrem. I'm including a link to it here its one of the better ones sadly ops: and even its not very good. http://www.autism.org/asperger.html while there is no (proof) that its genetic yet outside influances like parenting and abuse have been ruled out. But because the syndrom often comes with other things that are genetic the studys are focusing on finding out if it is genetic now. AS is not the only disorder my child has but it IS the most elusive when it comes to understanding it. My little girl has one of the more severe forms and an extream tendancy to agression in fact she can not be left alone with other children. I am currently trying to pursue my sons grandmother to have him tested as well since he like my little girl will attempt to mortaly harm other children. Its not something I say I understand because I cant see the world through thier eyes. What I do know is I have a little girl with no concept of hurt or understanding her actions nor the ability to bond with others. feel free to follow the links to read more pages on this syndrom since raiseing awareness is the only way we can get the much needed help on this issue. Its imporant to note my child has never had any injury not even a broken bone ever. She was a compleatly normal child for the first two years of her life except lung problems caused by a premature birth. Her symptoms did not start manifesting themselves untill the age of 3 when my previously very sweet child started withdrawing from me and her daddy for unknown reasons. We didnt understand her siting in her room and rocking or why she wouldnt play with other children or why she just wouldnt talk to us. But we didnt relize the full implications untill she was 4 and her sister was born it was not untill then that agression and violence entered the picture she was on a steady decline since then and only within the last year was she diagnosed with AS as her former pediatrition was chalking it all up to bad behavior. When I changed doctors the first thing she did was send my little girl to a specialist and after 6 weeks of study and testing she was diagnosed with AS. We are going to our 4th specialist..and this one works only with autistic children in 2 days. But so far ALL doctors who have seen her 3 specialists and 2 shrinks have all said this disorder is NOT a socialy induced disorder. These are more than just people with a PH.d taged to thier name......these are people who are devoting thier work and life to these disorders. |
