Quran and Bible debateTHIS IS NOT A QURAN AND BIBLE DEBATE !??You must have missed my statement to forum readers. "...just so everyone may understand, neither I am here to teach Christianity" I gave external evidence because the internal evidence is rejected. Remarkable how Israel even in her rebellion stands in the way of false teachers. If "all of them" were like myself, unwittingly participating on forum maintained by so-called biblical unitarians, then understandable why they call you names and leave. I would have never participated in Q&B debate had I known background of the moderators. For those of us who proclaim Christ Jesus true God, it is silly to defend trustworthiness of the Bible along side of anyone who denies, God *alone* is Savior. Muslims accept this essential truth without question, in reality, nearer to the kingdom of God then you are. I don't think it can get anymore asinine than to debate Quran and Bible and on same site debate what the Bible says. Figs is probably having a good laugh, rightfully so. You demonstrated nothing, read my reply again. Really Aineo, yet another debate on Trinity. Let's try this: I will assume you know my argument and you assume I know yours, and save the rehash. I read parts of Trinity Debate Forum; poisoning the well in the sticky, absurd take on understanding and interpretation, the ever handy delete button. It is so Islamic. Good thing for yourself and like fellows Apple Pie is banned, because in his sleep he could undo the high priests of so-called biblical unitarianism. Maybe it has not dawned on you but Apple Pie is a gifted logician, as his Muslim opponents have found. Not saying Apple Pie is correct by virtue of being a logician, rather, no person involved on this forum would be a match for him. So you are binitarian and not unitarian. Only in your head and the dozen or so books in your library on biblical unitarianism, do the prophets speak against Lord Jesus true God. Before I continue let me dispel a notion for the benefit of readers. Christianity is not about; oneness, twoness or threeness, doctrine or creeds; religion or rituals, dotted i's and crossed t's, nor is Christian faith founded on arguments. Most certainly no true Christian is moved to proclaim Jesus is God because of Justin Martyr or the trinity doctrine. It was, is and will always be about our Only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen. It's also biblical fact Paul quoted pagan poets. However to be factual, if such truly concerns you, the first to "opine" Christ Jesus is God (other than Jesus himself) can be found in the Bible. As for post-Apostolic age you're off by 50 years, so Justin Martyr being the first is not fact. Not intending to dismiss worthwhileness of the raised issue, just your site being place for rebuttal. Some correction. Just the type of guy a person would not want for defense attorney; appeals case and still the death sentence stands. Disagree with your interpretation, and it is understood you would disagree with mine. What I said, the hodge-podge of unitarianism have more in common than they realize. Modalism aside, which of the mentioned have commonality of the created Savior? Concern yourself less with my ignorance of the Bible and more with the essential truth. None that you will accept, but what I read disagrees with your claim. That is, if I have your permission on actual reading Lord help me. You have bizarre way with words, along with an over-developed sense of righteousness. You left a lifestyle for what you believe is God's truth. I left a religion where the penalty for apostasy is all too real, for what I believe is God's truth. You went your distance to have what you believe is the truth and I went mine. Get off your high horse. Nonetheless, I can state with all certainty, there are no trinitarians who believe they can defeat God. In fairness, I will return in few days to read your response; however, Goodbye. servant of Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the One and Only Almighty God. joseph |
