I get my information from various places. I believe the bible is foremost written for the jews, and only then for the gentiles.
If you wish to understand the bible you must look at it form a jewish perspective, otherwise, you miss dozens of nuances and explanations.
If you do not follow the hebrew mindset, and do not know the law, you cannot understand what is written.
The gospels are written, with the knowledge of the law, and the traditions of the jews in mind. Not of those of the gentiles.
The epistles are written mostly with that mindset, for the gentiles, because they were specifically adressed by the gentiles.
but the apostles remained mostly in jerusalem, surrounded by the jews. Their first attention would have been the jews, instead of the gentiles.
The bible is full of how the isrealites are more important than the gentiles. And they will always be, because the isrealites, are the chosen people of God. Not the gentiles. The gentiles were called to bring the jews to shame, so they would repent, and come to Christ. So far, the gentiles haven't done a good job at it. I at least haven't found a jew, which was yealous of the christians... that means that the christians are doing something wrong, but anyways.
The first attention of the apostles would have been the jews, and that would have been their foremost thought when they wrote their gospels.
