Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesWord Faith teachers and their Blasphemous Heresies!!!Then let me make it clearer. On the broadcast Hagin Jr. specifically stated that he was casting out the demons so people could and would donate more money. If you have taken the time to watch the health, wealth and properity advocates (WOF movement) there is an emphasis on "send us your cash and we will pray for you". As to Joyce Meyers and other who promote the WOF philosophy they do teach some heretical concepts, which is obvious to anyone who has studied the Bible. What is interesting concerning your defense of Mrs. Meyers is you took a part of what she wrote out of context. Jesus was not "born again". Jesus was perfect and sinless in life and death and did not need to be "born again". This is a heretical and blasphemus teaching that is found in the WOF movement. You have posted that we cannot know the intent of some of the preachers; but the fact is we can. We can discern their intent by the how they live. Benny Hinn for example has moved into a multi-million dollar mansion in California that is owned by Benny Hinn Ministries, which is headquartered in Texas, which has some of the most liberal laws concerning non-profits. Other states require financial disclosures for non-profits that Texas does not. How many of these ministries are members of Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability? Any Christian organization that is not willing to lay out an audited income and expense report is suspect and their intentions are plain to anyone with discernment. |
