Religious Cults & False Prophets~ Discussions and DebatesI need some advice!LindaBee2 Wrote: JW's are not preaching the correct gospel the Bible itself preaches. Instead, they tell people about the "new revelation" that "Jesus returned invisibly and is now ruling from heaven invisibly", That is the gospel they preach. The JW's do not even believe the gospel, they do not believe Jesus died for all their sins, they do not believe Jesus was resurrected. They believe that Jesus' body and soul died and that only his soul was raised back to life and that he manifested a make-believe body so that he could deceive his disciples into believing that he was really alive again. Ask the JW's at your door; Can a "spiritual body" hang on a cross? Pay for our sins? Be buried in a tomb?" Ofcourse the best question to ask them would be, "what gospel it is you are preaching this morning?" Because they are NOT preaching the gospel of Christ but the New World Translation that has been mistranslated in a lot of places to support the Watch Towers beliefs. A good example of their mistranslations would be Titus 2:13. The NASB reads "Looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus". Why do the Jehovah's Witnesses mistranslate this to read "While we wait for the happy hope and glorious manifestation of the great God and of [the] Savior of us, Christ Jesus"? The translation used in the New World Translation is once again in disagreement with all of the original manuscripts. They have changed the verse to make it look as if two different persons are in view in an attempt to hide the fact that the Bible clearly teaches Jesus is God. However, even as they have translated it, it proves Jesus is God. Isaiah 43:11 says "I, even I, am the Lord [Yahweh], and apart from me there is no savior" Goodluck and Peace to you. |
