As I ahve said before I was brought up a christian however I was taught that those people who worshiped jesus as god were sinners as jesus was gods son and a human.
I'm unsure what to make of that really while I'm reasonably sure a man named jesus indeed walked the earth I dont belive he was the son of a god after all a virgin birth means little since girls are known to become pregnate through heavey peting and without any actuall sex.
I would be interested to know your view on this though.
Ironicly though the way i was raised in worships the virgin mary as much as god it would seem.
For me to be alive and in human form is to be very close to the goddess specialy being a female and haveing the power of creation and giving of life.
However to die is to compleatly rejoin with the essence of the goddess untill rebirth.
I'm sure you have seen us we normaly wear a pendant of what looks like a star ( it was also adopted by satanist and worn upside down much as the cross was)
The 5 points each representing the elements of life its self.
Earth, Air,Fire, Water, and the top point that is always to be pointed to the north and to the stars is that of Spirit.
I dont belive in heaven or hell but perhaps thats because I belive we are reborn.
Although I find your thoughts on what heaven is to be interesting after all earth is a very nice place.
To understand my visions of heaven and hell as a child you would have to understand my childhood.
And it was not one I would wish on any other living creature but needless to say life then WAS a liveing hell therefor my childish reasoning at the time...true it has no simalieritys between what the bible says but it was born of a childs innocent imagination.
BTW I was taught to read by reading the bible and I will be honest the darn book was terrifying to a child.
The story of the thief who was dieing beside jesus is a bit differant than what I was speaking after all the thief was true in his belife.
I have known more than one christian to get babtized and yet not belive in the teaching of the relgian and yet did it (because that way they wont go to hell)
Also I have a question.
If jesus did indeed die for our sins of both past present and future and we were forgiving of them why do people still feel the need to be saved when it has already been done?
Or is it simply symbolic?
