Islam and the beast
Dear group,
Well, there certainly have been changes here since the last time I stopped by and posted!
Glad to see that some here are beginning to understand that Islam is the beast.
Now if we can go just a little further and realize that there are many titles in the Bible all describing the same person we will be even closer to understanding the end-times.
The antichrist,
aka:
the beast, Gog, that man of sin, the vile person, the king of Babylon, the Assyrian and others.
Then note that the "vile person" comes in the estate of the king of the north from Alexander's empire (in other words, around Iraq or Syria).
And note that Assyria included what is now Iraq and Syria.
And that Babylon was/is in Iraq.
And that Gog has to be: the king of Babylon, the Assyrian, and a Chaldean.
And that Chaldeans were from what is now Iraq.
After one does this, then one *should* begin to have an idea of who is being talked about that would cause wars which would end in the return of the Lord.
Just how is it that Saddam is still alive? Anyone care to bet as to whether he will be executed?
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Rev 19:20 (KJV)
One other thing which is critical to understanding the end-times is the realization of who the harlot is which the beast hates.
If one does understand that the beast is a group of Muslim nations which are listed in Ezek 38, then it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out who they hate. It is Israel. Israel is the harlot of Revelation. Revelation says that the beast will hate the harlot and attack her. If someone were to say "Hey, guess what? The Muslim nations hate Israel!" Everyone would say, "Duh!"
I know that many will be offended at the idea of Jerusalem being "that great city", the harlot of Revelation. But do a computer search in the Bible using "harlot" and see how many references you get which call Jerusalem/Israel a harlot.
Yeah, yeah. Rome is on 7 hills. But Jerusalem is on 7 mountains.
And the Lord said that he had to go to Jerusalem because it wasn't possible that a prophet should perish outside of Jerusalem.
And God says in Revelation that the blood of the prophets is found in that great city which is the harlot. Where would the blood of the prophets be found if the prophets were killed in Jerusalem?

Howdy! to Omega. I sure agree with what you are saying these days.
And hello to ILJ/Y (did I type that right?)!
Y'all need to pop in at the forums where I normally post and say hello. Then those people would see that I'm not the only one who believes that the beast is a group of Muslim nations.
Yours in Christ,
