Sample of Differences Between the Qur'an and the Bible
The deity of Christ
Surah 5:75 - Christ, the son of Mary, was no more than a messenger.
Colossians 1:15-20 (NASB) - And He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-- all things have been created by Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the first-born from the dead; so that He Himself might come to have first place in everything. For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fulness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.
The crucifixion of Christ
Surah 4:157-158 - That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah" but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow. For of a surety, they killed him not -- Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself ...
Matthew 27:32-37 (KJV) - And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross. And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull, they gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink. And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots. And sitting down they watched him there; and set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
The Redemption of Noah's Family
Surah 11:42 - So the Ark floated with them on the waves (towering) like mountains, and Noah called out to his son, who had separated himself (from the rest): "O, my son! embark with us, and be not with the Unbelievers."
The son replied: "I will betake myself to the mountain: it will save me from the water."
Noah said: "This day nothing can save, from the Command of Allah, any but those on whom He hath mercy" -- and the waves came between them, and the son was among those overwhelmed in the Flood.
Genesis 7:1, 6-7 (NASB) Then the LORD said to Noah, "Enter the ark, you and all your household; for you alone I have seen to be righteous before Me in this time. Now Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of water came upon the earth. Then Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him entered the ark because of the water of the flood.
