Christian/Muslim ThreadsNo contradictions in the Quran?????Alpha you show how little you know of the Qur'an. Muslims are only allowed more than one wife under certain pretexts. it is legal within the countries law, the wife is in need of help, there are many widows due to war, etc. it seems i know more of the Bible than you do of the Qur'an, which is i suppose natural as i used to be christian, although im not disputing you may know more than me about the Bible. The Qur'an also never says man is perfect. The Qur'an also DOES NOT say the bible is wrong, it tells us to read all revealed scriptures, but be wary of them because of misinterpretation and corruption through time there fore the changes are wrong, but the original is right, the Bible and the Qur'an do agree on many points. One such point is praying, i think its in Matthew 6, ill have to find out the other verses, but the bible tells us that people fall on there faces when they pray, it tells us how the people of that age bowed when they they prayed, and faced a holy place, it also tells us how people performed ablution before prayer, and in pslams (ill find number and verse later) we can here how people raise theyre hands to there heads in prayer and say 'God is Great' all these things are what muslims do in prayer. The Qur'an also doesnt tell us that Jesus (pbuh) wasnt the man on the stake (if you look at the original scripts youll not that the word 'cross' is NEVER used in any of the gospels) it says 'it appeared to them as if he died' but he was always alive even when they thought he was dead. |
