I think that even some creationists might want to correct you on this...The survival of chameleons is absolutely NOT complicated by its use of colour! Chameleons and squid use chromatophores (cells that can influence the colour of the skin) to blend in with their background. Taste let's animals know whether of not to eat the food, and sight is essential to a very large group of animals.
Furthermore, you state that evolution needs a brain ("to house intelligence to do so") but the brain IS a product of evolution itself.
