Hello Aineo and thanks of responding!
Matthew 20:22 - But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
May I ask you what this cup symobloizes?
The Cup and the Baptism referred to the Lords Suffering and death, in your respomse you seem to disagree that the Lord did not suffer more than Lazarus. The above verse states that only Christ is able to suffer such agony and is able to bear the sins of man.
Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. Matthew 26:38.39
Yes indeed there are Christians that have suffered to a greater extent physically but that was not my intent in my first post which was not clarified enough. But the agony which Christ bored for ours sins to save us from Spiritual death is Far Greater than any man can bear.
God Bless!
