Hello Marty!
All I was trying to convey in my first response is the Agony Christ suffered for us, this came to me as I felt how miserable I felt and the persecution I deal with on a daily basis on other forums. As to what I was trying to say to Aineo was that we do drink of His cup and partake in His Baptism meaning that we are united with Him in Baptism and partake of the cup of suffering, this in no way says that we will suffer His agony that he bore for our sins but that we are joined with Him in His cup and baptism. And as for the Spiritual meaning I was trying to get across is that although one may die physically and no matter how many times he were to die physically such as with Lazarus after benig raised from the dead, it is in no way comparable to the Agony Christ which he suffered on the Cross. I have done the best of my ability to explain this and I cannot do any better, and I sincerely apologize if I have confused some.
God Bless!
