Anyways, evolution does not always go by survival of the fittest. It can also introduce trades that are handy for the specific enviroment.
We humans have evolved,but we never came from apes.
We were humans, but we adapted to the enviroment. and thusly over thousands of years we became very different in appearances.
It does happen that way you know. It isn't always survival of the fittest. nature is the most adaptable thing ever, and humans, animals, insects, bacteries even adapt to the enviroment.
No huge changes like necks growing longer, but just adaptation to the enviroment.

Ok no huge changed but small adaptations which are still impossible since Adam and Eve had the same genes.
