Science, Creation & EvolutionEvolutionhey Jovaro, Can I ask you why is it no one likes to take the most sensible and easiest solution. We make life so difficult for ourself trying to find a more difficult way. What is wrong with starting with God and then trying to fathom everything else out. The problems only begin, when you take God out of the equation and try and start your arguments with comments like it's all chance.. You know, even when you think of things that you, me and mike have shared, none of it is chance. Much of it is too marvellous to be chance. Over the past 12 months there have been too many things happening in each of our lives to be just chance.. it's more than co-incidence, it's god-incidence, and if you look back and see it that way.. it sure changes the way you will look at the world. Okay, that is a very weak comparison to the beginnings of life, but is it? If we can see in our own lives, that things don't happen just by chance, then we don't start looking at the world with that attitude either. By the way, is it chance that all the cultures of the world have a creation story and a supreme being in their mythology? That they all have a story of a great flood? These cultures which were isolated from other cultures thoroughout their history, until they began to interact with explorers and western cultures had no way of learning these things.. they were in their cultures prior to this interaction. Yes, the stories differ, but the content remains the same. Is this chance? I think not. Try thinking the simple solution and seeing what results you get on the more complex questions.
