ArchivedMohammed: Greatest Prophet, Or False Prophet? When I said "as far as the Qu'ran is concerned," I meant that the Qu'ran is not the Word of God. Therefore, the Muhammed in the Qu'ran is not a prophet. To be general, I was not taking out the possibility of Muhammed being a prophet of God, because he could have been. But I am judging Muhammed by the Qu'ran. And since the Qu'ran is not the Word of God, Muhammed is not a prophet (judging from the Qu'ran--which is not the Word of God). You addressed the issue of polygamy (which you and I--for the most part--agree on). You did not address the issue of divorce and remarriage to the same person after marrying someone else, which is an abomination to God in the Holy Bible, but in the Qu'ran, Allah says it is not a sin. |
