Dear friend Alexei ...
You may want to visit this website; http://www.gbible.org/jrhtm021002.htm
Some corrections my friend....
1. The Bible needs to be read in the right context, some things need translating for some people to get a better meaning, other things in the Bible are Metaphoric, others are symbolic and have different representations, like parts of Revelations, the beast rising out of the sea etc.
2. The word wild ass in this context is comparing Ishmael to the the characteristics of a wild ass. A phyiscal animal, doesn't need translating.
What is a wild ass like? Uncontrollable, wild, un-tamable, violent etc.
Visit this site, it explains some stuff about Wild Ass if you want to know a bit more about it:

Next ... Dont twist and translate things to fit their meanings, i told you remember, use the KJV, and you'll be fine. All these other versions are un-reliable.
Heres what the KJV Says ... Genesis 16:12 -
"And he will be a wild MAN; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren."
Read the correct version, and you'll be fine
Now ... Lets see, what is a wild man? A wild man is lets see, umm ... uncontrollable, violent, un-governable etc.
Dont twist things to fit your own meanings. Also ... the reason WHY the other translations may read a WILD ASS is because thats what the scripture says!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you read the KJV you will know that these other translations are also correct in comparing Ishmael unto a wild ass, because a wild man and a wild ass are practically the same, in terms of behaviour n stuff.
I hope thats made things clear to you.
