ArchivedIs Myrrh the Bible what we call Marijuana today?1 Marijuana is myrrh in the Bible.
It is a little known fact that Myrrh in the Bible is actually Marijuana and it is not a sin based on God’s Ruling. Back in the 19th Century, it was perceived that marijuana would be looked down upon in the future, namely the 20th Century. However, this is the 21st Century and marijuana will once again be looked upon with favor.
People have been getting high on it since the dawn of mankind on the earth. Jacob, who is also named Israel, gave marijuana as a gift to Joseph as can be seen in the following excerpt in Genesis 43:11, “And their father Israel said unto them, If it must be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man [Joseph] a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds.” So myrrh, which is marijuana, was used thousands of years ago.
2 The Levites used it ritually.
Myrrh was also used by the Levites in their practice of religion by placing myrrh into an incense burner along with frankincense and allowing the room to fill with its sweet fragrance. And everybody who breathed in the smoke received a real pleasurable feeling.
To purify the temple, marijuana was a key ingredient for a type of oil used by the Levites as can be seen in Exodus 30:22 and 23. “Moreover the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels.” And the list goes on. In verse 25: “And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment…” The Lord worked with marijuana because of its sweet fragrance, which made it most desirable.
Again, oil of myrrh or marijuana was used as a purifying agent as mentioned in Esther 2:12, “… for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours…”
In Psalms 45:8, just the smell of myrrh on clothing was counted as a blessing. “All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.”
3 Jesus was given myrrh.
When Jesus was a child, He was given marijuana as Matthew 2:11 states: “they (the wise men) presented unto him gifts; gold (money), and frankincense (incense), and myrrh (marijuana).” This action of Jesus receiving marijuana represents His divine authority over it and He has thus far put no restriction on its use.
In Mark 15:23, while Jesus was on the cross, “And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.” He was offered wine mixed with marijuana. Although He refused it, wine mixed with marijuana is a real soothing drink and very popular in those days.
“And there came also Nicodemus … and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight. Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.” Here, marijuana was used to preserve the body of Jesus though that never came to be realized as God Almighty raised Jesus from the dead!
4 God’s ruling on the use of myrrh today.
In the year 1991, I talked with God (and there were two witnesses in the store with me) and during the conversation we talked about marijuana. God made the following ruling: Pure cocaine and marijuana (myrrh) are NOT sins. Anyone who does crack cocaine or heroin or worse drugs is cut off. Anyone who uses needles to get high is cut off.
God also made a ruling concerning alcohol and driving while under the influence (DUI) or driving while intoxicated (DWI) in that anyone with 4 or more DUI’s or DWI’s is cut off. So for those of you who drink, remember: 4 strikes and you are out! (God wanted 3 strikes however I talked Him up to 4.)
As for Hell, God said, “Hell has not been dug yet, but when it is, along one of the walls of Hell will be heroin booths where people can get high for all eternity. And as for gamblers, in the middle of Hell will be the casinos where people can do all the gambling they want to do.” God also stated that gambling is a sin but not necessarily a sin unto death. However, God said that anyone who is a professional gambler is cut off. A professional gambler is one that makes 90% or more of his income from gambling.
And get yourself baptized in the name of God, Jesus, and The Holy Ghost. Remember, in Heaven, you can smoke all the myrrh you want!!!

STACTE
stak'-te (nataph, "drops" (Job 36:27); stakte, meaning "oozing out in drops"):
One of the ingredients of the holy ointment (Exodus 30:34; Ecclesiasticus 24:15, margin "opobalsamum," the King James Version "storax"). The marginal reading is a concession to Jewish tradition, but see SPICE, (1). Dioscorides describes two kinds of stacte, one of pure myrrh and one of storax and a fat mixed. See MYRRH. This nataph must have been either myrrh "in drops," as it is collected, or some other fragrant gum, similarly collected, such, for example, as gum tragacanth
I didn't write in these, I'm not saying I agree with this, but I want/need some responses. I honestly don't know what to believe. I'm sorry if this is a mess but I've actually decided to post something
