For example: "Everlasting Father" does not mean Jesus is the Father within the Godhead. It is referring to Christ's relationship towards those the Father has given to Him. That passage (Isaiah 43:10) is not saying that the Father is the servant. In fact, the servant is declared as another witness in that passage: "You are My witnesses says the Lord, and My servant whom I have chosen......." I cannot be you and be your servant at the same time. I am not saying Christ is not God, but He humbled Himself to obey the Father who is not the Son. |
