It seems like you are saying there's no such thing, but that there's only natural (sinners/unsaved) and spiritual (nonsinners/saved). Why is there even mention of a third type of person if there is no such thing in reality? How do you figure? While vs. 22 does have a prayer of Paul, the prayer ends at the end of that verse. If vs. 23 were a prayer, why would Paul say "faithful is he" instead of "faithful are you, Lord"? Either way, the verse says "will do it," not "I pray that He will do it." And even if this is a prayer, it still doesn't negate the fact that Philippians 1:6 is true: "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." |
